Swig Co. - Voluntary Seismic Improvements

Project/Construction Management services for the design and construction of voluntary seismic improvements to the historic 333 Pine Street building. This project included compaction grouting of the exterior footings and foundations in addition to new concrete shear walls to laterally strengthen the lower levels of the structure. The PM conducted a formal bid process and selection of a General Contractor to carry out the construction. The PM along with the Client met weekly to review the site conditions with the structural and geotechnical along with the General Contractor to complete the project on-time over a 12 week construction schedule. The PM along with a permit expeditor secured a building permit over a 2 week period of time to allow for early start of construction. The project was completed in-budget.
